A therapist is a health professional who is qualified to help you to overcome emotional distress by talking through your problems. You don’t need to talk about anything you don’t feel comfortable about. Your therapist is there to listen, and to help you understand why you are feeling a certain way. They can also teach you certain habits to create a more positive mindset. Therapists are there to help with a range of mental health problems including:

• Relationship problems
• Low mood/Low self-esteem
• Phobias
•Obsessive-compulsive disorder
Therapists use a range of different techniques to help you overcome your issues, a common one being Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This is a talking therapy designed to help you change the way you think and behave as a way to overcome your issues.
Everything you experience in life is seen with your eyes only, and what is true for you is true for everyone else. We all climb the mountain but may start from different points, take different routes, see different views and meet others on the way, but no two paths are the same.

The Owen Freeman Academy was set up with one main goal, to help others. We do this by giving our clients and our practitioners the insight to walk a different path, to lead others to a new way of thinking and ultimately looking past self interests and making the world a more understanding place.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, employing unconditional positive regard and customizing a treatment plan for the individuates circumstances.
